NIKITA THAKUR
You can find Nikita in her home studio in Mumbai experimenting with paint formulas, using unconventional tools, and letting her intuition guide her. She paints in layers with mixed media, using acrylics, pastels, charcoal, and collage. Art challenges her to be authentic to her wild, rebellious, and imperfect self. These adventures with mixed media and abstraction capture a feeling of freedom. Although her paintings may not represent anything tangible, they represent the imperfections’ imperfections, randomness, and duality.
